Add a wall that when put within a certain radius of another like wall that it creates a "protective field" that takes lightning damage. Only add an even number of these walls and a max of say 8 or 10. This would reduce lightning raids on dark elixir.

Something like this, active-defense walls, is a good idea.

I just think the zapping elixirs is soo cheap, like late hit after the bell rings. Anyway if the consensus is everyone likes the zapping then they won't change it. But the electric fences for hogs would be fun.
