So... It sounds like this isn't really much of a problem. In fact, to get it right ALL the other times seems like their algorithms are spot on.

Most likely impractical to get the matches right 100% of the time.

Might even be designed that way. Adds a little excitement into the matchmaking if occasionally you are significantly stronger or weaker than your opponent.

wow, good luck on beating that one, you going to try or just back out? seems unfair to me but hey, you get it sometimes and it may be annoying. One day ur be laughing when ur the strong one against a rubbish clan

yeah maybe we gonna try our best since supercell's feedback is not that fast at all.. but yeah.. this is the hardest war for me in 3 years playing this game.. too MISMATCHED.. like if im at #15 and i want a 3 star on 1st attack, i will need to attack #20 to 75% 3 star.. and u know that will be very sux lol

i just want a clear explanation and answer of how did our clan end up matched against this clan in Clan WAR? this war is so unfair.. thats not even nearly matched as u guys saying in help and support.. thats wayyyyy tooo unmatched guys.. been playing coc for 3 years and this only happened to me once.. that our enemy in clan war is wayy too stronger than us.. please respond to my post pls.. ill be very happy to see your explanation.. pleasee.. thanx..

About the same as the top. More th7s and th6s than the opponent has, which are not rushed in both clans too. I gotta admit that this is a special case of matchmaking failure.

Our most recent war we thought we had been dealt a rough hand as well, when we checked the two war maps we had 5 TH10's with only 2 of them decently upgraded with heroes over lvl 20 compared to our opponents clan who had 9 TH10 with the top 4 being decently upgraded and the remaining 5 being varying degrees of premature. We were also outnumbered on TH9s as well although we did have the advantage when it came to TH8's

Needless to say we were pretty pessimistic going into the battle day and sure enough this war was horrendously one sided with a final score of 80-55 with nearly all attacks used on both sides. The only surprise was that it was our clan that won the war with our TH9's massively impressive and actually managing to 3 star 4 of their TH10's! which although still new TH10's still rocked multis and 3 xbows.

Don't give up until you see what they attack like we found our opponent couldn't 3 star a base that was same TH level as themselves whereas our players happily 3 starred players their own level right up the board

Even if you lose, u still get XP points. Think of it as a challenge not a losing battle. I have seen maxed TH10s who couldn't get one star because they didn't know how to do a lavaloonian. Never surrender and Never give up!!!

dude thats why im saying that im playing this game for 3 years and this is the first time that im in a war against so strong clan..

You keep saying that, but Clan Wars has only been out for little over a year. You don't have any more experience with Clan Wars than a player who has been playing half the time.

I'm just curious how long it took took find that match? The way I understand matchmaking, the longer the search takes, the more likely you are to get a mismatch since the search needs to be expanded until it finds the next best match. If you end the search after 5 or 10 minutes and start over, you may be able to avoid this somewhat.

It sounds like it is a mismatch but it really doesn't look all that bad from the pictures. They have 1 very high level player and 2 extra th9s. We've seen a number of wars like this won some, lost some. You will never get completely even clans and if this is the worst you've seen so far that says to me the matchmaking is working.

yeah i forgot to tell u guys how long it took to find match.. if im not mistaken, 20-30 minutes.. we could'nt find a match on 45v45 for 20mins so i made it 40v40..

Well, the SC Clan War algorithm is a bit imperfect, and mismatches do happen, but here's what I suggest you to do.

1) Chill out and have fun, its just a game!
2) Show that you still fight hard in unfair wars! Do your best and try to win it!
3) Mismatches do happen and nobody reports them when it's in their favour right? Think of it as a payback for any unfair mismatches that may have happened in the past in which YOU had the favour.
