    hero compromise that could make everyone happy!

    Everyone would like heroes available for war, but programming to make them available only for war is too complicated? My idea is to make heroes available at all times while upgrading. Here's the catch. Resting time during upgrades takes 4 times the normal resting time. So you can still have your heroes, but you can either wait 4+ hours or you can boost your hero to make recovery time what it would normally be. Supercell would still make plenty on gems cause everyone would be boosting heroes and players get their heroes, everyone wins!

    or they could be just available as normal like the clan castle, they just don't get the upgraded stats till the upgrade finished.

    if supercell wanted us to have them while upgrading we would have them while upgrading

    How does this make supercell happy? In fact this makes it worse for supercell, heroes always available?

    The best compromise was in another thread.

    You ou can pay for heroes in a per usage basis by paying gems for the use. The math came out to something like a 7 day upgrade costs about 1000 gems to finish, with 6 attacks during that week of wars, so each use would cost 80%/6 which came out to about 116 gems per use of the hero at 7 day max upgrade times. Smaller if you have 3 day, 4 day, etc. so you can use them for war at your discretion and supercell can still revenue with hero upgrades.

    Did you read the original post? Recovery time takes 4 times as long during upgrades. That means recovery times in excess of 4 hours. People will boost heroes even more to get them back faster. That is how they generate revenue.

    4 hour down time, with a recovery boost that costs 10 gems ($0.10 or free from 2-3 trees) versus 1000 gems ($10.00) still doesn't sound like a compromise. They would have to boost their recovery time 100 times during that 7 day period to make up for the loss of revenue from hero upgrade.

    I'm not sure if many of you understand what a compromise really means....
