How about it takes a week for the change to take effect, and a co-leader+ can cancel it.

I like that idea, but I think that it should be that co-leader+ can only propose the name change, and it is up to the leader to approve it or not, free of time limit.

The leader can change the name, with there being a week of time for the name change to come into effect. The decision should only be influenced by the clan leader,

If this happens, it minimizes trolling.

Yes, it should be like the name change system where you could only change it once.

SC allowed a one time name change for all players. It should, I would think, be a fairly easy thing to allow a one time clan name change. Although I may wrong about that. It would be good I think to do a clan name change only once, or perhaps they could allow it on an annual basis or longer depending on what SC wants to do.

1.) I think this would be a good idea for some clans. Maybe your funny clan name is not a good idea anymore now that you have 150+ war wins.
The only problem is that Supercell want to give a co the same power as a leader. There is no additional responsibility of a leader. Giving the one time name change to a co.

2.) A one time name change is always a dangerous thing but you can already get the phone of a friend and rename him to "justin bieber". With a one time name change the owner of the account cant change it back and only hope that the support sees this as an offensive name and changes it back.
