Need help to get to Master's at TH8

I'm currently a lvl 91 th8 with all defenses maxed out except for my lvl 4 teslas. I am at crystal 1 right now and I have been there for almost a month. I am really struggling to get to Master's so I can get those 1000 gems. Whenever I reach 2500 cups my base gets wrecked and I lose 50 trophies. I usually use mass dragons or 20 hogs 15 wiz 1 pekka and the rest archers and 3 healing spells. I keep switching between a troll base and a war base for my home base. But no matter what I still keep on losing my defenses. I know that it's hard to get to Master's at th8, but it is doable. Am I missing anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Use bam,barch,gibarch or loonion for clearing trash buildings for 50%.If you have spare gems,boost the barracks for non stop raids.When barracks is boosted,Please don't log out.Otherwise you are just wasting gems
For God's sake.please don't log out after every attack.Considering the power th9 you will get wrecked easily by their army,plus you will lose more trophies than you will gain

Thanks bro for ur answer but wouldn't it be better to just 3 star a base than keep looking for a possible 1 star? . Ever since the last update it's easier to find bases in ur th range but the trophies u get are really low. And what base should I use? Could u suggest any base for me to use? Thanks!

I barched to master 1 with th8 troops... There were tons of farming bases in crystal 1 and master 3 I could find in the old matchmaking system, I would think it would be easier in the new one? Are your barbarians and archers level 5?

Yes they are but right now there are rarely any farming bases at crystal 1. So is it better to 3 star a base or just keep barching for 1 stars? And any suggestions on a good base I can use? Thanks!

Your attack uses 3 healing spells. That is an hour and a half per attack. Even without them that is at least 45 minutes per attack because you use a pekka. Barch doesn't use spells and only takes 18 minutes 45 seconds per attack to train troops. That means you can do 4.8 barch attacks in the time it takes you to do one of the other attacks with 3 heal spells. Even if you boost the spells or don't use them, that is still 2.4 barch attacks in the time it takes to train a pekka. That means you could get 4.8 1 stars in the time it takes you to get 1 3 star while gaining more loot. Also, it is also possible to get 2 star pretty easily with barch and you aren't guaranteed a 3 star with the other attack.

I'll send a screenshot of my friend's th8 base. He hasn't played in a long time and his defenses actually pushed him from gold to Crystal 1/2 lol. Hopefully his base isn't destroyed ... Edit: sadly it is destroyed... at 2408 trophies

Aww Hahaha. I have one last question, is it better to have a troll base or a war base when pushing to master's?

I don't really know any good th8 bases especially with the air sweeper because I haven't been th8 in a long time :P... maybe this base? It's a war base so your storages might be exposed. http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...nneling-GoWipe lol forgot to paste the link
