I had a mystery tool box up which I claimed yesterday. It's a half grumble on that one! I got 2 dynamite, which I needed, but really, shovels would have been much nicer or axes. I was really hoping for axes. I have another offer ready in 3h30 and I have 30 gift cards so maybe there's still a chance for something decent before the new year! (11hrs to go until I ring in the new year.) keeping fingers crossed!

Happy new year, everyone! I see we're off to a great start on a year of topiaries and such, just as John predicted. ...grumble...grumble... I suppose we're getting better at handling the disappointment. Nice to see Spanielgirl just goes back to milking instead of falling into twitching spasms of grief when anything other than the brt shows up!

Thanks for the sympathies re the mystery tool gift box , gymgirl! Well, I guess there was too much champagne at my house! I forgot to check and go for my offer before 2013 went to bed! And guess what's up this week? ... Yep...a BRT. Since I already have one ... ( she says hesitantly, preparing for a Boroyob grumble...) should I go for another or wait for my elusive gifts, the pennyfarthing and windmill?

    Decisions, decisions...

Ooooh, what a dilemma? Would you like two?? If so, go for it! And good luck

Who me, grumble...?? I say go for it as well, THEN I might grumble, mutter, mutter, moan... hehe. You might even be first brt winner this year, that would be good to see. Win it and boast I say...

I've been reading (and chuckling, and guffawing) through this thread for the last couple of days. I don't personally want a brt, but I've mightily enjoyed reading the attempts you all have made.

so my daughter is playing next to me, and just said, "Rats! I just tried for the bike and got a stupid butterfly on a flower!"

    Of course, I started laughing.

ETA: Just leveled up and was a deeply amused to discover I can now own my very own BRT for the low, low price of a million and a half coins? Hee,

Glad you liked the thread... We like to think we cheer people up on here, and you and your daughter are now part of our venting, moaning, grumbling community..!! Albeit in a fun sense. Sounds like your daughter's timing was perfect, lol.

btw, you should see the price of buying a second brt...

175,000. I wouldn't go as far as to buy a second one. They do take up a lot of room! But I'd find room for a lovely twirly windmill! If I could ever win one. Or get chance to win one. I'm fear I'm doomed to snail misery!! Or drown in topiary. 🌳🌲🌲🌳🌲🌴🌲🌳🌲🌴🌲🌳

Typical woman (especially from Yorkshire) trying to get stuff cheaper...!! lol. You need to add another million+ coins on to that figure, the second one is 2,000,000.
