Id max dark troops...balloon-minion is a great way to farm gold when your elixir storages are maxed and hogs are still very good in war depending on the base.

Do your walls now. If you leave them as puny purple walls, at th 9 you will feel overwhelmed and will not do them because You will have so much else to do. Also do troops like golems and valks for later wars. Hogs are not a bad choice either (just for farming or some wars). And if you haven't done your king 10, do that. good luck!

Move to TH9, upgrade all elixir buildings in TH9, ignore most defenses and do walls using gold (you'll need to farm at least 30mil gold/elixir every 2 weeks). Within the first month, you'll almost be maxed TH9 offense, and have ~120 more skulls. Then just alternate doing skulls and legos (gold to skulls, elixir to legos) until you're at maxed legos
