Thread: Tie Breaker In War!!

    War day last 24 hours so that there's no problem with international clans, partly. If the war ends in a tie and there's 1 hour left... What about the people who's sleeping?

    Also the likelihood of a clan to win does not depend only on the top bases, but ALL of the bases. That's why a clan with, say, 1 TH 10 can still defeat another clan with 3 TH 10s. Because all of the attacks have the same weight in stars. If it ends in a tie and to win you depend on top bases the conditions wouldn't be equal.

    I do agree with the idea of a tie breaker... I like the "clan with more 3 stars" idea or something...

    Please not the top 5 guys. In our clan, it's the top five that always do the worst. Maybe each clan could choose 3 representatives and that rep would be matched with his mirror. Then it would be a 6 v 6 tiebreaker.

    lol. I agree. Its not that our top 5 is bad, they just always have tough opponents.

    That's the point. If you have the top 5 fight, better attackers will win. I've seen plenty of epic th9 attacks on th10s. And if you're strong enough to at least tie, you should be able to do something vs the top 5. Yes, there will be a winner and a loser. That's the point. To separate. I don't care how the time limit works, but most people check to see if you're winning or losing so if you see a tie possibility they would prep for that.

    The number of 3 star attacks or % damage would definitely be quicker but what about when your TH8 heavy clan ties a TH9 heavier clan and we all know TH8s should be a three star, but not a TH9 unless you have good troops and some ability. Now the team who has overachieved basically loses because of TH instead because the other clan attacked "better".

    Im just about attacking being what separates a win and a loss.

    First of all, one hour as WAY too short to make any viable war army after TH6. Make it 4 hours, because 5 45min spells take 3 hour 45 minutes.
    What if they still don't manage to get any more stars? What if both sides are already at max stars?

    Either make the loot bonus for tie much higher, or introduce a tie-breaker.

    As a tie-breaker, I suggest the winner is the side that scored higher in the war stat "average destruction". Not keen on a war extension.

    I think its a better idea that the loot gained is only half the total if tied.

    Why not whichever clan used the less attack, won the war? 10 vs 10. Clan A used 20 attack and scored 30 points. Clan B used only 10 attack and scored also 30 points. So clan B won because they are more effective and more coordinated. Or the most average damage % won. It will be much more simple than derailing the war time. Plus, it wouldn't be fair for top 5 players of each clan

    # of 3 stars attacks really wouldn't be that accurate in my opinion, cause there are a lot of occasions where you inflict like 90%-99% dmg and you still get 2 stars regardless. %dmg would be more fair

    This is the most suitable
