Good idea, but with increased productivity of pumps/drills/mines, i think there would be an increase in collector raids, and difficult to take advantage of this bonus with actual shield system, any thoughts about this, guys?
It does sound like players need to come back in to collect their resources even more regularly (although it also might mean more loot going around the leagues)
What about refund costs for troops used in attacks (depending on league) just like clan war perks give refunds for donations? So something like 0-30% refund of troop costs used.. Maybe I'd be more willing to burn through expensive troops during raids![]()
The thing is, your suppose to be attacking for loot and not just waiting for it too come. I'm not saying they should remove collectors but if they did too much people would complain. But if they (very very very very very unlikely) could I would remove them for other buildings more important than them.
The real bonuses kick in higher up where people are a bit more active. I think they'll be emptying collectors quite regularly, however a few extra collector raids wouldn't be all too bad I don't think. How would the shield system make it hard to take advantage of the league perks? You can attack through shield.
I'm not sure I really follow you. People would still be attacking for loot just at higher leagues increased resource production would help offset increased army costs.

+10% boost to hero recovery
That would be the same as decreased hero heal and decreased spell time.
