Why expose your TH but surround it with Tesla?

Whenever I see teslas come up near town halls,

I attack from the opposite side with 5 spells and all my force, heroes, and clan castle troops even if it means losing elixirs.

Make sure to teach these douches a lesson never to do that.

Any additional looting? You know it's only another 1,000 of each. Trapping a TH is being a douche. If you put your TH out, it's because you want a cheap shield. If you don't want the cheap shield, put it in. Or, your base gets hit deep more often. That's a fact.

two reason when i put my TH in corner and trap it tesla:
1. just for fun to tease the attacker seeing them get mad
2. easy way to collect defense win, though i don't really need it. 90% of my reason is just for fun and tease others

You can see them get mad? How do you do that?

When I'm farming, if I see a TH exposed I'll help a fellow farmer out by sniping his TH to give a shield. However, why do some people insist on surrounding it with Tesla!? Doesn't encourage sniping.

In fact, when people do this I zap their DE and take as close to 39% of their loot as possible before clicking next.

Is there a strategic reason for people doing this?

A lot of the replies speak from the standpoint of "moral" sniping.

"Ganna give my fellow farmer a shield!"

Nope... Dosent happen. If I offer 300k gold and elix and I have my th on the outside, you say your ganna just take my th and move on? Lies!!!

If I make you waste 20% of your troops then that's that much less you can take.
