Sorry about your bad connection. Losing connection during a raid or war battle always stinks like last weeks gym socks.
Third world internet problems. I can relate, i once lost an attack in war because the game was too slow then crashed.![]()
Thanks for your input guys haven't seen any of it until just now lol. Ofc there would be a time limit as to how long you have to log back on! As for my phone/provider I have the HTC One M8 on T-Mobile. Great phone with spotty coverage but hey, nothing I can do since I am on contract and the plan is very affordable. Simply "upgrading" is not a realistic solution to this issue

Not sure we need a pause as that could be exploited, but it would be great if you get dropped, if you can reload quickly and resume the fight. The clock keeps ticking so it wouldn't buy you more time but if your connection just dropped for a second you could salvage an attack.
Pause option doesn't describe it very well. I think of it more like a pause requirement. If you read my earlier posts in the thread you'd catch my drift. You're idea of having the clock keep ticking is very good as well, negating the problem posed earlier of an attacked delayed too long. Based on some other features in the game and my experience with supercell as a whole, if they were to include this idea, that would be how they do it.

Way to make a theoretically decent idea. Unfortunately, not feasible. The amount of time and effort it would take to make it so the game freezes mid game in raid? It just would take a TON of coding, For example, you ever collect some elixir from a collector, then immediately lose connection? Notice how the game will revert somewhat, meaning the game doesn't read you collecting that elixir. That is what would happen. You raid, your about to lose, you Kill your WiFi, causing the game to crash. The game, then, can not comprehend where you were in the round, and restarts the fight. Thus, giving you a free re-fight.
What if all the troops just kept walking and fighting? The plan would just be to let you back into the attack as it is progressing. This would make it so no "freezing" is required. I don't see how much complicated it would be to send the attacker back into the attack that is already taking place and unfolding.
