My first th8 war base design

Dear all, i would greatly appreciate all comments and suggestions regarding my war base! I just turned th8 around 3 days ago and i am really excited for my first war as a th8.

When ever i like to make a base i like you make it as symmetrical as possible so there is no side weaker then another. Especially keeping the mortars square so you get mortar damage to all corner of the base. And the more compartments the better. I am also a th8 and my favourite war base currently is this one:

i seem to get the most defense wins off this base when i am trophy pushing as well as when im war. Hope some of this helps.

Lets agree to disagree. Today the most prevalent and powerful bases are those that are not symmetrical, weirdly formed, unorganised and have extremely well placed defence structures. This is what the top clans are using. I suggest that you go and check out this youtube channel, and take a look at the the bases from the war. The bases will not be TH8, but you will get my point immediately after scrolling through. Although it may not be technically even on both sides, if your defences are placed correctly then the damage split around the base should be sufficient. The key aspects of a TH8 are having double giant bombs (two giant bombs placed between two defences so that hogs must path through them), unlurable clan caste, and hard to reach air defences. As most clans you face will most likely be using DragLoon, the way you should organise your air defences should be in a relative triangle, with the sweeper between two air defences and pointing onto the third. It looks good for, yeah, your first base. there is really no anti gowipe or hog conventions here though.
