If you look at ancient posts the things people used to whine about is still pretty much the same as today's whining :P
As much as this sounds hypocritical but personally I don't think you should reply to a 3 year old thread (warning people is okay) Let this thread whither away, by not commenting

Use search, find what your looking for, reply, get shot down for being a necromncer.
Start a new thread, get shot down and told to use search function.
You just can't keep some people happy no matter what you do.

It doesn't really say in the forum rules...
They make the rules up as they go along. I changed a staff members quote to say something I found funny, nothing happened. I did the exact same thing with a mods quote, two month ban.
That seems harsh.
I agree with you on that… I got a one month ban by one moderator even though the thread I created generated a healthy and civilised conversation with ANOTHER moderator...
And when I pointed it out to the moderator that banned me this person accused me of calling him/her a lier…
I mean, WTH????
