Are mass witches viable at th9?

So I've seen a few threads and videos of people being successful with mass witches. But they are all th10. Are they still able to 3 star at th9?

I'm guessing they would. You get 20 more camp space at th10, and one more spell. Your witches are already maxed at th9, so they would be just as strong as th10. But th10 seems to add a much bigger jump in defensive threngh from th9 than offense if only using witches. It seems to make sense to me that mass witches would be just as viable if not more viable than th10.

But I don't want to use my theories and assume that they are good at th9. There might be some variable I'm not seeing, and I don't want to risk a war attack on theory. I'd like to know if anyone at th9 has had success with mass witches.

Edit: Also, I'm not even a maxed th9 yet, closer to mid, and I get matched with mid th9s in war, rarely maxed. I'm sure that has an influence on the success rate.
