    Does ♥♥ respond to emails?

    I sent an email to ♥♥ over the weekend about transferring my son's base. Do they usually respond to email and how long does it usually take to get a response?

    SC support is really busy atm, due to many name change problems etc.
    I'd wait 1-2 more weeks...

    Hi,

    SC no longer check their email - **all** support tickets to be created in game - cog icon > help and support > contact us.

    In the meantime have you checked the help files - most problems are dealt with there.

    That is how I "emailed" them... through in game support. It wont let me move my sons android TH9 base to his new ipad because his village on the ipad is past TH4. There has to be a way to do it. Seems ridiculous to disallow someone from moving their base to a device based on what level TH you progressed to.

    That's really odd I take it you have tried doing a one time Android to Apple transfer?

    Cog icon > Settings > link a device

    If you have then it's really just a matter of waiting for support to get back to you - they can issue a recovery code he can input into clash on his new iPad.

    Edit the other way you could try possibly would be to back up the iPad do a full factory wipe download clash without being signed into the GC that the account currently on there is and then link to that....you would need a NEW GC account to link to the account transferred from Android....then he could restore the data back to the iPad does that make sense?

    I've not tested it but it should work

    I tried linking a device where I say "old device" on android and "new device" on ipad and it gives me a code to enter from the android to the ipad. When I enter it on the ipad it says something to the effect like you cant link a device because there is a village with a TH greater than 4 on the "new device". I tried with 3 different codes and it told me the same thing each time. Needless to say my son isnt happy... lol

    I am trying not to do any sort of factory reset on his device. That is my last resort and it seems there should be an easier way to do this besides factory resetting a device. Also he would lose his GC account which is linked to his apple ID. I really don't want to have to mess with any of that.

    Yes that's what i meant.

    It's not letting you do it as a safeguard for the account that is on there right now - the only way you can fix it yourself is therefore to wipe the device as i said and start a fresh account on the iPad OR wait for support to respond.

    Thanks Daddy... I will wait for support to contact me as I dont want to wipe his device and start all over just to transfer his village.

    Why don't you just clear the game data (if possible for ios devices) or else just reinstall the game so that the Th4 acc will be gone n u won't need to wipe all the device data
