I founded this clan on February 11, 2014. I was previously in a farming clan by the name of Legitimacy. This is where I truly learned how to farm. However, I was losing interest in the game, so to mix things up, a few of my friends, a couple members from Legitimacy, and I started LegitimacyHorde as a sister clan so that we can teach relatively new players how to farm and develop them into strong, active clashers who know how to play the game. I have been through the process of going from clan to clan and seeing the immaturity, the drama, and the bad leadership, and I know many of you have as well. That is the worst part of Clash of Clans, and what distinguishes a bad clan from a good clan. We are mature, drama free, and we have good, active leadership in the clan that confers before making decisions.
Since November, we have recruited a good mix of adults and teens, but us teens in the clan (yes, I am one of them!) pride ourselves on being mature and acting like adults. As in any mature group of people, there is no rude chat or belittling of anyone, and our members know that it is not tolerated at all. Our members are all around the world, but the majority of them is in the United States, although we have a few filipinos, Canadians, and Europeans. But of course we always like to crack jokes and share our amazing loot replays
. So to sum it up, we are an active, laid-back farming clan with strong leadership and lots of donations!
So what's the point of a farming clan? Why not just war and trophy push all the time? Well, warring all the time doesn't allow you to farm much at all. Not only does it take away time you could be farming with; you can't amass any resources. Maybe you fight a really good war, and you have am 800k Gold, 800k Elixir, and 2000 Dark Elixir War Win Bonus. That's pretty decent loot, right? No. First of all, you spend a lot of elixir donating troops to clan-mates and of course using your attacks. While you spent all that elixir and two days of careful coordination and lots of hard work, you make 800k G/E and 2000 DE. Just one hour each day of farming (unboosted) may yield 1 million Gold, 1 million Elixir, and 8k DE. So farming, as of now, is the best way of amassing loot and upgrading your base. Pushing, on the other hand, doesn't allow you to amass resources to upgrade your village's structures at all. That being said, pushing is fun, and all members are encouraged to do it once in a while; it's a good experience, and the gem rewards are nice
. The point of a farming clan is to provide good troops that will help out with looting, to provide cool new tips about farming, and to have fun while being in a laid back and stress-free community that's not overly serious about the game!

Even though warring is not our main focus, we do war occasionally. We have serious wars once every week. These are not mandatory, so if you don't want to be in it, simply opt out! However, if you do opt in, you MUST use both attacks and go for 2 or 3 stars on a reasonable base. Since we are not a heavy, hardcore warring clan, we just do these serious wars for a change of pace from farming, some fun, and of course XP. You will not be penalized for failing an attack; on the contrary: we'll teach you how you can improve that attack, and you'll come out of that experience a better attacker. Our bottom line is just have fun and learn!

Of course, we have rules you have to abide by to stay in the clan. Rules are made and changed by our Clan Administration, which consists of Elders, Co-Leaders, and the Leader. If you are a member, do not hesitate to propose a new rule or rule change. Everyone's opinion is valued. If a member breaks a rule, depending on the severity of the infraction, they may be warned, temporarily banned from the clan, or even permanently banned from the clan.
General
- Speak English in Clan Chat. We don't want people to speak in a language others don't understand; it divides the clan and people feel left out.
- Be mature; act like an adult. Always be polite and respectful.
- No vulgar language or sexually explicit innuendos or discussions.
- Derogatory language referring to certain classes, genders, races, sexual orientations, or religions of people is not tolerated whatsoever and will result in an automatic kick.
- No 3rd-party programs, h@cks, bots, etc. may be discussed or used in the clan.
- Abide by Supercell's Terms of Service.
Donations
- Always donate to open requests if you can provide what it is asking for. If you can't provide what it is asking for, ask the requester if something else is OK. If not, resort to the 5-minute rule.
- 5-minute rule: If a request is still open after 5 minutes, you may donate archers to it. We have this rule in place because we want to to pread the ability to donate around and not have everyone relying on the few higher level players that can produce said troops. In general, if you are asking for a specialized troop, asking ahead of time is wise so someone can take the time to cook one up.
Exception: 5-minute rule does not apply to WAR requests. For war, requests must be honored.
- Each member must donate a minimum of 600 troops per season. Once you have met this, the above rules still apply. 600 troops is just the bare minimum.
- Request AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE! We cannot stress this enough. Try to use your Clan Castle troops every raid; they're there for a reason. Requesting tons means you're giving others an opportunity to donate, and the whole clan donates more as a whole. There is no ratio requirement, but our first donation rule always applies.
Activity
- Be active in chat. Share your replays, chat, and just chill.
- Attack a lot. We are a farming clan, and farming means attacking (it's fine if you push once in a while too).
- New members are at high risk of getting kicked out for low activity; we want all our recruits to be active members who will help our clan grow.
Vacation
- We respect that everyone has their life outside of Clash (well, most of us). If you feel that you won't be able to meet requirements, be in chat, or attack in war for a certain period of time (because of vacation, studying for finals, break from CoC, etc.), please tell a Clan Admin how long and the reason you'll be gone, and we'll figure something out.
War
- If opted in, use BOTH attacks.
- Go for a 3 star on your attacks. Sometimes, going for a 2-star may be all that's possible. Consult with a Leader if you have questions.
- You will not be excluded from war if you have trouble with War Strategy. But we expect that you follow rules and try to get better at war.
- Do NOT donate to War Map CCs unless you have been given clearance to do so. If unsure, ask a Clan Admin.
- Mistakes are made; you won't be punished. Just have fun and learn!
Leaving the Clan
- If you need to leave to visit a friend's clan, you MUST ask a leader for permission.
- Tell him/her how long you will be gone.
- If you do not ask for permission, you may not be accepted back into the clan. We can't have members just leaving and coming back all the time. That's chaotic.
- If you are leaving the clan for good, we would appreciate if you tell a Clan Admin why before you leave the clan so we can work on improving the clan.

Promotions are discussed and awarded by the Clan Administration. Here are our ranks:
Leader: He/She is the executive leader (basically the President). Final decisions are made by the clan leader. The Clan Leader will usually be, so to speak, the Commander in Chief of our wars.
Co-Leaders: They are the most trusted and loyal members of the clan. # of Co-Leaders will not exceed 5 (it will probably be 3 or 4). Becoming a Co-Leader is no easy feat; our Co-Leaders are dedicated to the clan, donate a LOT, and are very active, helping people out frequently in chat. They have been in our clan (or our sister) for months, and some over a year.
All ranks above here are referred to as Clan Leaders or Leaders. A Clan Leader's word is final.
Elders: These are loyal members who donate a lot and have been in the clan for at least a month. They are active in chat and help people out a lot. There is no limit to the amount of Elders there will be in the clan.
All ranks above here are referred to as Clan Admins. They all discuss, vote, and implement rules and decisions in the clan. If you need a leader to know something, tell a Clan Admin and they'll tell a leader.
How to Earn a Promotion
Becoming an Elder: There is no limit to the amount of elders we will have, so if you meet the requirements, you will become an elder. Here are the requirements to be promoted to Clan Elder:
- Be in the clan for at least a month.
- Be active in chat and help people out.
- Donate and request a lot of troops.
- Have a mature and respectful attitude in the clan.
- Becoming elder is not easy, but it is not very difficult. Anyone can earn elder if he/she puts his/her mind to it.
Becoming a Co-Leader: Becoming a Co-Leader is very difficult. You must:
- Show a lot of dedication to the clan
- Be extremely active
- Donate TONS.
Being a Co-Leader has a lot of responsibility, and it isn't fun and games. Don't donate and help people out for the sake of getting a promotion. We can tell if you're doing that, so don't even try. Only genuine members will make it this far.
Becoming the Leader: Good luck.

What We Are Looking For
- Loyal Members who want to be with our clan for a long time. Don't join if you're going to leave tomorrow.
- Active Players who raid often, donate a lot, and participate in chat daily.
- Mature People who make the clan feel like an adult clan. That does not mean you have to be an adult to join our clan; Just act like one.
- Max TH7 or higher with Level 4 Archers and without a heavily rushed base.
- 75 Million Gold Grab. This shows that you know how to farm and have farmed before. We may make exceptions on this requirement.
