The use of Goblins... At all...

A guy in my clan uses like 20 goblins when he farms and got another clan member to start doing it too. I've seen people use them in mass and others in low quantities. I've tried using goblins whilst farming, but I feel like they die before they do too much damage, so I stick with my usual farming comp: 16 giants, 5 wbs, 65 archers and 65 barbs.

To each their own but you do realize they have more hp/dps than archers...just sayin

I always use 28 or 32 goblins for storage raids. At lvl6 they are little green beasts. I even use about 4 of them in cw for cleanup after a lavaloon attack. They do by far the most damage per housing space to ressource buildings even wizards can only do half of it and they are really fast. 4 goblins for the ressource buildings and 2 wizards for the rest (army camps, barracks etc.) should be enough.

I use 30 or 4o with giants archers and barbs not just because they target collectors but if storages are in the middle they chew a guick path to them much better than wall breakers cause if your looting they give you a clear path

You can use goblins as cleanup troops in clan wars... For example if you attack with GoLaLoon, you need as much cleanup troops as possible.
Many high level/hardcore war players are doing that.

The Clan Castle defence was interesting to hear. Not sure it would work with less than 30 capacity though...

If you found lots of collectors raid... using one rax of barb and rest gobs is the best way to do so...

use minimal troops (you won't win star but who cares?)

i did this when i was th8.. early th9 too to get onto the elixir need at fresh start new th lvl

Last time i used goblins was when they were lvl 2.

Now im a lvl 104 th9

Simple question: Do you use Goblins?

A guy in my clan has wen requesting for them lately as he is farming and focussing on resources.

It got me thinking, even on resource raids I don't use and have never used Goblins! I know a couple of other clan-mates take along maybe 5? But apart from this I do not know of any real BIG use of them!

Are they only ever used as that small quantity, extra-bit troop?

I always use Goblins.
BAG - one barrack Goblins, one barrack Barbs, two barracks Archers. Plus some Giants and some Wallbreakers.
I have been farming like this since many THs, it always did the trick for me.
