One of my coleaders (th9) shamed me into joining him. But it was more fun pushing than I expected.

This was my first push.
i hated it!

i prefer to war/farm.
I will try and farm as I drop but no longer have any use for cups.

maybe I'll try again as a th10 but I doubt it.

Nice achievement getting there as a th9. It really made me feel great when I did that. Farm all the DE you can on your way down and never say never, one day you will get up there again I guess...

By the way, did you use your heroes or are they sleeping?

I'm on my way up too...almost quit 3100+ mark is one hell of a tough nut to crack...taking it slowly now...all 1star raids...i hope i can finish it today!

Id like to thank everyone that gave me the motivation. I thought about quitting several times.

It was a tough two weeks but I made it.

The quick loon event definitely helped me.


And to those saying the new matchmaking helps after the update, you are wrong.
It might help a th8, or a th7, but certainly not as a th9.

I can confirm this is the most efficient strategy for a th9 champs push.

I went with:

2 lvl2 hounds
20 lvl6 loons
30 lvl5 minions
2 rages

Took about 36hrs from M1 to Champs with 1 period of boosting (1 rax & spell factory) before the loon/hog event. Was not hard at all. Had to next a bit but more than enough easy 3* 30 trophy offers from th9s with weak ads/grounded bows/no aq.
