Love it. Good read. I am currently on journey of maxxing my th9. I was debating going 10 when royalty was 20/20... Maybe ill hold back a bit..

20/20 heroes is a good start, but you might want to work on walls a little as well. I remember how easy it was to farm at th9, in a single boost session i could farm up at least 4-5m gold and 4-5m elixir using Barch/BAM. While at th10 using Barch/BAM only nets me 2-3m each (gold and elixir). Main problem is you spend more gold searching and due to the loot penalty you are forced to attack bases with 120-150k/120-150k instead of spending 100k+ searching for a 250k/250k base.

I don't understand how you can keep all the resources long enough to upgrade. I was holding off on my walls so I could work on troops and defenses but every time I get close to 3mil of either I get raided by someone who obviously pays to play and I find it extremely unfair as a free player. I can't play all the time cause I have a family to take care of but its not like I'm never on either. Any advice you could give on resource hoarding would be appreciated!

Went th10 with 80 lava, 16 BK & 20 AQ, not even max def (canons & AT th8 level). All i can say is loot is fairly easy with the new update.

I avg 3.5-4m each with 2 barrack+SF boosted in B1-S2 range, nowaday its not uncommon to find 1m+ raid.

In this range with a decent layout and both inferno upgrading u loose ~100k each and ~5k DE (since u are often zapped) every 24h, but its not a problem.

To be honest i was scared with all those 6.75m and 8m upgrade but i dont feel any difference between th9 pre-update and th10 post-update farming. Storages are full whenever i have a free builder, and i have to dump some into wall.

I dont get ppl who say gold and lix is hard to come by, and as for DE, its easier to get DE as a TH10 so...

Dunno about Gold league. But Bronze 1 to Silver 2 is full of 250k+/250k base barchable (i usually find one within 30 next)

just dropped myself to 750 trophies, but still finding useless bases.
1. Bases with completely empty storage and collectors
2. Nonraid worthy bases that have loot distributed across both storage and half full collector, that going full barch net u at most less than 100k of each

3. And every 30+ searches, find 300k/300k+ storage loot in nonbarchable TH10s with lava/electric walls and maxed defenses, so that dumping barch will let you get 1/4 of the storages i.e. net you less than 100k

Where are these barchable bases people are finding at TH10?
If i have to go for storage raids with balloons or strong ground army with spell + against max bases, i might as well push trophies up to crystal~masters but thats not what i want
