Erm, you've already made a thread complaining about gem prices being too high, now you're demanding gem sales? You understand that gems are the only income source for CoC?

This would do nothing except cut revenue in half.
Everyone would wait for the sale to buy gems. Period.
After the first sale, everyone would hold out to wait for the next sale. No revenue except during sale time.
From a finance perspective, this proposal has no merit and will decrease profit for SuperCell, rather than increasing the amount sold.
This will only happen when the revenue of SC drops. But cannot see that happening for a long time
First, SC should jack up the gem prices. Then they can have a sale, and everyone will feel like they're getting a deal.

Exactly. No sensible business executive would call for a sale on their product unless sales are down and they need to revitalize the stagnant sales. Holiday events are a different story, especially since many are conditioned to save and spend only during certain times of the year. Supercell and Clash of Clans don't have that problem, yet. When you see Gem sales popping up, their sales revenue is probably on decline.
Since SoftBank opted to buy 51% of Supercell for $1.5 Billion, it's fair to say they see plenty of revenue and profit from the company for some time to come...
