What a nice necro...

Anyway,Supercell will not add any new flags to the game for two reasons-1. Game performance and stability (each flag animation chips away at device's memory), similarly to the waterfall which decreased the speed, stability, etc. of the actual gameplay.
2. Secondly, there are hundreds of flags and nationalities- SC simply is unable to add them all to the game. After all, it is just a decorative item and doesn't impact the actual game experience so don't let it bother you too much.

yes either they remove all the flag (heart breaking as it is) or give the player an option of 3 flags the white the arrow and a national flag of your choice! 3 flag per base with whatever decor you like either way with or without flag with the access to all decor lag can never be resolved!

This was suggested a lot and a forumer even created a petition to get this done, but the official answer from SC to the petition was "The flags are staying in place".
