This is mentioned on the sticky, but 10 gems seems fair
U already get 135 gems a month. Maybe 1 gem a day
I don't think SC will be giving out more free gems.

an obstacle spawns every 8 hours u get about 1.5 gems 3*1.5 4.5*30=135
