hi I'm looking for a strategy to attack this th8 war base. Any help would be great. I'm th8 myself troops all about maxed. What troops? Where should I come in from? Thanks much!

You will need:

3 lvl 4+ Rage Spells.
A Clan Castle full of lvl 6 balloons or any other troops (balloons preferred)
8 lvl 3 Dragons.
8 lvl 4+ Balloons..

Execution,
Take a look at the pic i put in:
Drop Rage spells so as to cover the two areas in red at the bottom first. Forget about the top for now.
Immediately after dropping the rage spells, drop 4 Balloons at each blue spot, not any higher or lower! If it goes higher or lower, they will NOT target the Air Defenses! The Air Defenses will definitely get taken out by that.
Then, drop the rage spell at the red spot on top along with your 8 Dragons along the black line and your Clan Castle troops right behind them.

This will DEFINITELY get you 3 Stars!

EDIT!: For some freaking reason, the pic says uploaded but its not coming, so yeah, drop one rage spell between the Archer tower and Air defense in the bottom, and one between the Air defense and canon in the bottom. Then drop 4 Balloons each between the Gold storage and Elixir collector a little higher up, so they will target the Archer tower/ canon and go to the Air Defenses next.
Then, drop a rage spell right in front of the upper Air Defense, and drop all ur drags in a wave at the top so they will target the Air Def, and all ur cc shud be behind the drags...

Dragon Snipe would work well here.

I'd likely go 7 drags, 12 hogs, 5 max hogs in CC. 2 Heal, 1 Rage.

Attack with your drags coming in from 3:00. That AD 5 is at a disadvantage against L3 drags. There are no high HP structures in front of it and you have a rage spell to help your drags get to it in a hurry.

Then, I'd backside snipe the two AD6s with hogs, once the CC, which will agro quickly on the drags coming from 3:00, leave the CC. For the AD at ~8:30, I'd drop, say, 10 hogs and a heal spell. Drop them headed towards the AT (check for GB with a single hog first), perhaps over the elixir collector

For the AD at 12:00, the CC plus one or two hogs and a heal spell. Looks like a fairly easy 3-star
