Its not really a strategy, no army in the world surrenders before the war as even begun.

Actually, many armies have surrendered before a battle is fought. And besides, it's not surrendering they still have to take out the th. we don't even know who will attack us so how is it even surrendering anyway? As someone else said, it is a raid, not a war. You don't declare war on anyone you just take your troops and attack a random person for money.

if you read my replys my base is setup so the TH is protected and nobody attacks me. So I don't need to protect my loot or worry about gaining a free shield.

Just so so sad to see guys going for league bonus & high leagues the cowards way. Fight it out and be seen.

That defeats the purpose of a th. The th will be less valued and players will leave the th on the 2nd or 3rd layer to slow down attackers. U need to have a profitable base b4 any1 attacks u. What's the point of attacking when nothing is gained?

It shows in the raids that you need to work for your trophies and war bonus, not just sitting there on a plate.
