It has been said by users, that if you want to protect your dark elixir and people are zapping it, why do you think they are zapping you?
- Most likely you are a Town Hall 8 or 9 with those solid-gold mortars and fully purple wizard towers, right?
- If you were a Town Hall 7, you would be incapable of attacking that base, most likely, right?
- So, what is your solution to the people who've got 1200 DE in the center of their base that you can't touch?
- LIGHTNIN' EM!
- Technically it's your fault. You want to protect your dark elixir, farm with players of your own skill level.
Although I also do see your point. These players are annoying... but technically they are doing this rather inffectively.
Barching and stealing drill DE is a good way of farming Dark Elixir, and you can raid a few thousand in the time it'd take you to cook up one lightning spell batch. Even if they boosted their spell factory, where's the elixir coming from? They'd most likely run out of elixir every 5 batches or so. Then to get a simple 100K elixir for another batch is about 150-200 gems (not sure). Gemming the king with no initial DE is just 600 gems (I never gemmed my king, but I've heard that it's 600. Let them zap, they are a long way from a Barbarian King anyway.
