It's a problem, Supercell. A doggone problem. You save up 40,000 dark elixir like it's nothing. You raid for hours and skillfully place down your troops in an arc around the base to thieve the opponent's dark elixir in a skillful and honest fashion. You go to the bathroom. You come back. You log on to Clash of Clans. You throw your phone on the ground because some [expletive] decided that he should lightning spell your dark elixir. You train up a GoWiPe, a mass dragon, a hog army, and hit the red Revenge button. You'll show this sucker who's the boss around here.
"This player has an active shield."
And, so, fellow Clashers, I direct you to a video. No, he may not be the first to think of it. But, he is probably the most famous. I lead you to Clash of Clans with Cam's YouTube video:

Teslas are long, tall pieces of metal. Lightning is electric. So, doesn't it make sense that the tesla would absorb the damage from a lightning spell. This would prevent people from zapping our hard-earned dark elixir and make people earn it the real way, thus making the game more skill-based.
Supercell, you always seem to want to reward the skilled, the hard-working, the patient. Mass drag too overpowered at TH10? Add a new air defense? LaLoon too good? Add an air sweeper? Hogs too overpowered? Giant bombs inflict more damage too them.
These attack strategies are still viable, it just makes the more skilled and hardcore community the ones that are using them correctly. So, please, Supercell, accept this idea. Allow teslas to absorb lightning spell's damage. It would make for a better community, a more relaxed community, and more people wanting to learn about how to farm correctly, thus leading to more people wanting to learn about the game andbecome that hardcore player. More active players? More income for Supercell.
