Why is the Air Sweeper Necessary?

Yes, the air sweeper is certainly serving it's purpose, I used to easily 3 star same level (TH8) bases with the Dragloon attacks... now only 1 3 star attack in the last 3 clan wars.

Ok besides watching Youtube videos please show me how it was easy to three star bases with Dragloon. Quite frankly it wasn't easy. They listened to people with no real experience on the matter. Only overpowered attack was TH7 dragons.

Not to go off the trail of this thread too much... I am at TH8 and I find it a bit discouraging that when I eventually upgrade my TH, 2 Stars will be considered a success and 3 stars are basically impossible, in regards to Wars

Exactly-^^^^^ we war a lot but i find it hard to 3 star my mirror, i looked at some attack strats here but im not able to tree star every war. I think a lot of people are unable to 3 star their mirror, unles its a really bad base. I know for sure that someone who post a 3 star video das not show his 5 fails videos from his other attacks.

My farm base has not been attacked since air sweeper update and my warbase was not attacked bij air but two starred by ground troops.

Yup in other words overall defense are overpowered. It's ridiculously hard to three star your mirror in war. Then again, most people will say that you don't have to attack your mirror in war. True that, but logically we should be able to three star our mirror most of the time. Why is it that everytime SC release a new troops they need to nerf it? I don't get why some people are mad that their max base has been 3 starred and start calling the new troops OP. It should be possible to three star a max base, if not what's the point of having max heroes and troops?

There is absolutely no way that defence is overpowered at the top end of the game in fact quite the opposite defence could still do with a substantial buff! I am a lavaloon attacker and to be perfectly honest the introduction of the air sweeper has made no difference to my success rate in fact every base I attacked this morning ended up 2 starred relatively easy. What it has done is separate the air attackers with skill from those who just dump and hope, my most recent defences against this type of attacker have been wins. As far as I'm concerned this is how it should be! Why should you be able to get 2 and 3 star wins by just dumping your troops along one side of the base and hoping for the best?

In my clan in the last war we had 4 attacks that ended up as 3 stars and this is against max defence TH10 bases so it is still possible. In my opinion only the very best attackers should be able to 3 star a max def TH10 base in war a good attacker should be able to 2 star and a poor attacker might walk away with 1 star or 0 stars.

If everybody could three star their mirror we would have wars with perfect scores against perfect scores. How often does that happen? And do we want that to happen?

Yeah, but it should be posttible - and easier, ofcorse it has to go on skill too, but atm not even super skills can 3 star all mirrors

It's easy if you know how to do it. Try watching some of the YouTube videos and learn all the different strategies for using Dragloon. At TH7 and TH8 I estimate that I got 3 stars with dragloon about 90% of the time, with most of the failures were on max or near max TH8 bases.

I believe now that a max TH8 with good placement of air defenses and air sweeper is a very hard target for TH8 dragloon, but most are not max and generally have some weakness that can be exploited.

It wasn't derogatory.. he was just stating his opinion, what are you gonna do if he thinks you are low level?
he did not say that "this guy is low level" he said "I am starting to THINK guys like this are low leve"


also its true..hogs aren't dead.. hogs are great to use ifor anythink below TH10 and especially if you spied the location of the bombs.


You can still use hogs on TH10 IF you are also a TH10 who has FREEZE spell to use on those pesky infernos
