Hidden Teslas taking the Zap!

To clarify I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ZAPPING.

I am not saying something SHOULD be done.

I am not saying it is a BAD thing.

I was just interested in raising an idea to potentially give people defensive options against something that is currenty un-defendable.

Please READ what I have said before commenting on what you THINK I have said. I zap people for an extra bit of dark elixir every now and then. Therefore it WOULD NOT be in my interest for this idea to be implemented - I simply have an open enough mind to suggest things that wouldn't JUST benefit me - unlike some other pig-headed people on the forums.

As for RULED OUT IDEAS, I find it rather unfair that I should be denied the opportunity to talk about something because my predecessors on this forum have already talked about it. Even if an idea HAS been ruled out it is simy harmless conversation of which those interested can engage. If you are not interested for whatever reason then simply don't post and allow the thread to drop from the top and disappear from your royal view!

Okay, so with people complaining about DE zapping since forever, rather than inventing a new tower to protect your resources how about Hidden Teslas can be placed near / around valuable storages and attract the lightning / absorb the brunt of the damage?

It's an idea that has been brought up before, and this feature is based on a complaint nothing more - Supercell have openly stated they have no wish to change it, having already nerfed the lighting strike on DE.

I think I answered your initial post correctly, earlier, as you state this has been raised "since forever" and the idea of teslas taking the zap has likewise has been brought up "since forever" - ruled out is ruled out. Your post has added nothing to try and sway this, or provide a new alternative. You're rehashing old territory, no base should be undefendable and certainly not in such a simple a way as to place a building next to another. Just think what you are saying and don't be so tetchy about the responses.

i'm not at all against discussing ruled out items as long as someone is coming up with new ideas about it to add for discussion but you haven't we are going over old gound which will lead to the post being deleted.

And it is expected of all forum posters to abide by the ground rules of researching your topic first rather than starting new threads.

There are General Elections every 5 years because the political climate changes. The same will happen as this game is updated an old ideas will become more relevant.

You should search and contribute to an existing conversation before spamming the forum with another identical idea. This has all been discussed many times already in the last 48 hours and countless times in the months prior.

I may have missed a few items but those are the key reasons why we responded. So you could get the information you need as quickly as possible and this thread could fade away or be removed as duplicate drivel, whichever happens first. Nobody benefits form this.

i sincerely apologise for poisoning your page with 'duplicate drivel'. I can't believe you would disagree about the notion of researching a topic before writing about it, clearly the English education is worse now than when I was a wee ankle-biter.

There is a difference between disagreeing with a post and attempting to personally insult somebody's intelligence. I suggest you read the post about not being TOXIC.

The only quote I see in addition to your original that has any relevance is this one, in which you have insulted a lot of forum goers by a very toxic and narrow minded coment of calling them "pig-headed" when they too are just as entitled to air their views, I could have been sly and just reported your post but I was actually giving you the benefit of the doubt.
