Champion League - Loot Bonus Farming

I dropped to gold 3, i have made some conclusions.. gold league has lots of inactive bases, but the problem is that they have no dark elixir to raid (or the drills are in the deep core), i found it has better gold/elixir to raid than champ bonus. you can make more of it in gold league than champ. but if you need dark elixir than i'd say keep yourself in champs, nexting is worth it.. (especially if you want to upgrade your heroes)

I am now a maxed TH9 and have been farming in Champions for about a month doing both walls and heros. I also have a TH9 account in masters.

Just to reiterate my thoughts:
- Post update Champions is no where near where it was in loots, because you are no longer matched with Champion TH9 but 2 leagues lower...
- TH Snipes is vastly over stated.

I would say my TH9 account in Masters II is making far more loot than my account in Champions. The loot bonus is less but you get considerably more town hall snipes and also the bases are incredibly easy to barch with no heroes needed. There is also far more collector raids in Masters II as well from a mixture of TH8's and TH9's.

I have also seen things pick up considerably in gold/silver league, and can see this better than farming Champions.

I am actually curious what Champions II is like now for TH9, as I have a feeling to find the TH9 Champion bases you need to be 1 league higher now.

Hey, I am currently a th9 farming in 31XX cup range, and not finding too many snipes with champs badge. Would you recommend dropping to 2800 cups and then farming in the 27XX cup range or what?

Personally I would. Could even go a bit lower, just experiment.

As a TH8, I reached champs3 yesterday. It took me 3/4 weeks of patience to finally get here. My strategy was using Gowipe on any TH8 having high trophy counts. In between was sniping exposed and semi-exposed THs. I would also take full advantage on my shields. This meant attacking 1 or 2 times (total attacks) mid morning and then spending 1-2 hours nexting/sniping/attacking in the evening while watching the news with the Mrs. (kids in bed). My goal was to try and net 30-40 trophies in the evening play. As far as defense, I exposed my TH and put all my resource storage's outside as well. My thought was to take advantage (and hope) other snipers would get to me first before some other TH9/10 would. More often than not I would get sniped (under 10 trophies lost) and lose some resources. I did have a couple TH9's demolish me for 30-40 trophies. This only happened 3-4 times on the way up.

Tonight in 40 minutes of play. I sniped 5 exposed TH's and 3 stared one base for a total of 41 trophies, 1,080,000 gold/elixir (loot bonus), 7200 DE (loot bonus). On the 3 star: 250,000 gold/elixir and 1500 DE.

It certainly is working for me. Just need to be patient. The hardest stretch was getting through masters 1 and 2...
