If you don't want that just don't let him play. Trust me, there are far worse games to corrupt his mind. All those First Person Shooters out there are becoming more and more realistic, and that is modern day stuff. Clash of Clans has more of a medieval feel to it with swords and archers and whatnot, pretty much harmless.
Besides, the name of the game is "CLASH of CLANS," aka, clans clashing (or warring) with each other.
