I am used to attacking with dragons not much experience with gowipe.
I have the following:
Lv5 Wizards, Lv5 Balloons, Lv1 Gollems, Lv1 Pekkas, Lvl 3 Dragons, Lv4 Minions, Lv4 Hogs, all other troops are Lv5. All spells are Lv5 only have space for 3. 200 troop capacity and 25 troop capacity in cc.
Someone in my clan just attacked this base using 4 level 2 golems and 12 level 5 wizards the rest was made up with balloons, archers, minions and barbs. They got 1 star using that strategy... But it didn't seem to be executed well and maybe some pekkas would of helped?
I have 3 starred this type of layout on a few occasions with dragons and wizards. It requires patience but can be achieved. If attacking from the top, use some wizards to clear one side from top corner and your hero (all raged up) and less wizards to clear the other side. That leaves a centre line for your dragons to go down without getting distracted and spreading out (let's face it, dragons are dumb!). Only release the dragons when both the top corners have been cleared. They will usually continue through to the centre. Help the dragons push through to the TH and air defences with healing and rage spells just ahead of them. With them gone, they can clear up.
