    No disrespect, but "Its just part of the game" is a pretty lame excuse to not change it. Should they get rid of lava hounds because at some point not having them was "just part of the game". The game evolves...thats why they have these forums. I think its a good idea to make DE storages immune or at least resistant to lightning spells in regular play. They could base the percentage reduced on TH level so lower level players don't get away with being tools. They could also turn this feature off for war so it doesn't effect how you attack a base.

    That's not the case at all. Try reading the rest of the thread. It happens all the way up into Masters and has nothing to do with revenge attacks.

    Compromise

    Here is maybe some sort of compromise.

    Like what if, as you leveled up your DE storage, it became more resistant to lighning attacks which effectively makes it so people could steal less. Something like this:

    · Level 1 DE Storage – Base
    · Level 2 DE Storage – 10% more resistant than base
    · Level 3 DE Storage – 20% more resistant than base
    · Level 4 DE Storage – 30% more resistant than base
    · Level 5 DE Storage – 45% more resistant than base
    · Level 6 DE Storage – 60% more resistant than base

    Secondly, maybe if as you increase your town hall level, a lower percentage of DE is available to steal, maybe like this:

    · Town Hall 7 – Only 6% can be stolen
    · Town Hall 8 – Only 6% can be stolen
    · Town Hall 9 – Only 5% can be stolen
    · Town Hall 10 – Only 4% can be stolen

    Seems like a good compromise right?

    Its still part of the game, its not even a very efficient strategy. And most of it does happen in silver and low gold. Have you been there recently? Th 10s galore.

    Please learn how to farm DE like the rest of us. Stop stealing (So said the guy that has lost sight of where he got his DE in the first place.) and there wouldn't be a need for us to protect it.

    I do just farm it. Zapping is way too expensive for the little bit you get. For the same money I can instead do raids and get all of it, plus their gold and elixir. The difference though is I don't crybaby about having guys that lash back at me like you do.

    Like how Telsa Towers do 2X damage against Pekkas, Big Bombs against hogs, or Wall Breakers deal more damage to walls.

    This is something that I feel needs to be addressed.

    Well, the DE storage leveling was mentioned, just not detailed. I do think that could be a viable solution to the issue, but whether Supercell thinks so is on them.

    As for the TH relation, Supercell is either a step ahead of you or you were already aware of their limits. Sorry, no compromise there.

    The point of my post was that both of these are already present in the game. When you upgrade your DE storage, it gets an HP boost of 10%, 10%, 10% 15% 15% which effectively (since DE stolen is based off the percentage of HP you take off the DE Storage) it effectively reduces the effectiveness of lightning spells.

    Higher HP for DE storage means that spells do less damage (by percentage) ergo less DE stolen. I was hoping more people would talk about how that is a great idea and SC should implement it but alas, you found me

    Ok, point taken. But that still doesn't stop them from taking ~2000 DE each time they zap me with Max Lightning spells. It might sound petty, but that's ~175 Gems they're stealing with each Zap. With the money I put into this game, that's almost enough to get me to stop playing. Just Sayin...
