    Clan war rematch!

There are a few wars that are really close or could have gone a different way if one thing had/hadn't happened.
Suggestion: Add an option to ASK the opposing clan for a rematch after the war is over
    Edit:
    1) You should only be able to rematch only once against the same clan as rematching again and again could lead to serious misuse.
    2) The system of rematch would be the same as the one of finding a clan to war with. Except in this case the opponent would already be decided. This means that the number of players which participated in the war before would participate in this match. In a case where the previous number of members are not available, the leaders would get an option to call off the war or war with less people.
    3) A clan war preview in which the leader can see the opposing players which are participating in the war. If he sees the war to be a fair one he would accept. This option, of course, would be available to the leader of both sides.
    4) If the opposing clan declines the war rematch, the clan that sent the request would not be able to send the request to the same clan to avoid annoyance.
More suggestions for the betterment of the idea are wholeheartedly appreciated.

So we can't change our war base or attack with different troops?

People come and go from clans. Regulars opt in/out according to availibility. People upgrade th, defenses, weapons, spells. Clans war on different cycles..

These are just a few reasons why a rematch is not reallly what you think it will be.

Well not really. The rematch option would just be like searching for a new war except the opponent would already be decided.
For eg: If the war was 15v15 and it ended in a close affair, the rematch option would send the opposing clan a request for a 15v15 war in which the top 15 members eligible for the war from both sides will be included in the new war.
If the clan doesn't have 15 members, the rematch option would automatically go down to the next number I.e 10v10 in this case.

And if the opposing clan doesn’t want a CW for two weeks because it’s a national or religious holiday for some ?
And if the top people need to opt out for personal reasons ?
Or if the opposing clan is a feeder for a much stronger clan, so their strongest and best cross into the clan just for the rematch ?

None of these scenarios is impossible, and none of them is a rematch.

Then they would decline the rematch offer? :S
    Edit:
As for the feeder thing, how about having a preview of war in which the leader can see who are the people in the other war?
And if he doesn't like it he could just revoke/decline the invitation for the rematch?

Why would you decline a rematch if you could so easily stack the odds in your favour ?

I haven’t even started to outline the potential exploits. This is simply a bad idea.

But, luck for you, this idea crops up weekly. Search for “rematch” and you will find plenty of threads that discuss the pros and cons.

Most of the pros are “great idea” and not much more.
All of the cons are valid reasons why a CW rematch is a bad idea.

Doesn't a preview solve most of the problems?
