Two nights ago, my sister asked me if I needed any juice for my boat. I indignantly told her I wasn't working my boat, wasn't going to work my boat and she shouldn't be able to see what I might or might not need on my boat. "There must be a bug on your farm", I insisted.

Sweet girl, she patiently pointed out to me that whether or not I opened crates on my boat for help, anyone touching the harbour can see the crates once a boat is docked.

i never knew that. I always touched the boats themselves to help other players. On the bright side, I must applaud my pinpoint finger accuracy for never having even accidentally touched the harbour...or I probably did and thought I touched the boat anyway.

Long story, short conclusion - I'm still learning things about this game.

When I first started playing you couldn't see others' boats until they asked for help. That changed on an upgrade a while ago. Useful if you like to watch how cargo is trending.

yeah, but have you ever bought diamonds? Cause then they will disappear for sure. Though to be fair, I haven't, and I got them for a while, then I didn't, and then they came back. I still get them now. So I guess I'm lucky too!

I don't think I ever realised quite how big people could make their barns before I got here!

I know that, and it's weird that they randomize it. Too bad you don't get them though

The really odd part is that if you touch the boat, you still can't see. It only works if you touch the harbour. That was the funny thing about our conversation. She was yammering on about the harbour while I was yapping about touching the boats. sigh

I also remember once, when I was still playing on my mum's device and account, finding a farm in the DD in the level 40s, selling only wheat and having no machines other than the bakery. No boat or mine unlocked either. I thought *that* must be a strange way of playing. HOw would they buy EVERYTHING they would need for trucks other than wheat and bread? HOw is that even possible?

Looking back, that was a quite obvious bot farm, I'd say.

For a while I didn't realize you could click on town hall to send your townies away or to shops. I was chasing the people around the town to click on them 😂
So glad someone pointed that out to me. Now I can have my townies all waiting with gifts so I can complete a town task in several seconds.

When you click on Greg's Farm:

1. He Has Derby Active, yet not a member of any hood
2. He does not have all Animals:
   
   1. Has Only 8 Goats not 12 Goats
   2. Has Only 10 Sheeps not 15 Sheeps
   3. Has Only 12 Chickens not 18 Chickens
   4. Has Only 10 Cows no 15 Cows
   5. Has all 15 Pigs
   
   
3. Boat is always in dock, unable to click on boat to see timer for when boat departs or items to be needed

Anatolian Donkey may be able to fly, in its animations it will flap it ears so fast that its upper body lifts off the ground just before it panics and stop flapping ears and drops hard it front hoofs.

If town visitor being served in Bed and Breakfast you see the bed sheets rising up and down in the motion of someone under the sheets sleeping and possibly snoring.

You can set Town Visitors for Train Derby Tasks ahead of time:

1. Serve all the visitors till they are in final store do not release them.
2. Go to town hall to see which visitors need to be served that are not in a store click on them and send them to a store.
3. Go to town hall to go directly to a visitor in a store and you can serve them, if you are unable to fill their order click on them one time, to serve other waiting visitors. This way you can avoid clicking a town visitor that is fully served till it times to do Train Task for Derby.

Town Visitors walking to Platform or Going Home, if town visitor shows walking to platform or Going Home when you see them in Town Hall List

• An X Icon on bottom of store means it was town visitor you picked up from a neighbor that was not served and kicked out.
• A Check Mark Icon on bottom of store means it was town visitor you picked up from a neighbor that was has been served.
• No Annotation Icon on bottom of store means it was a multitasker.

When visiting your neighbor station to pick up town visitors, you can click on their station to see all their visitors they have ready to pick up with a handy progress to your train capacity.

Most excellent thread! Posted about not realising the ability to turn away truck orders, and I let my poor chickens starve whilst catching up here after this thread was pointed out to me!
Was level 50 by the time I realised about the truck, boat, farm visitors and townies being able to be said no to.
And recently learned we can stop unwanted followers ( unless we are on their recent helpers list )

Trick there is! When at another farmer's sanctuary, go to their farm using the hand cart. Then go back to their town/sanctuary -- it should now be available.

It's a bit cumbersome. Hopefully they will fix this at some point.

I didn't realise the handcart would take me to THEIR farm. I always assume it'd take me to mine for some reason xD
