The Mary Poppins visitor is wearing a Christmas flower in her hair and carrying a "Present" purse. That's new, right? I'm actually not sure but it looks​ different to me.

uhm...scratch that. It's just part of the visitors being dressed up in their Christmas doodads. I just didn't notice hers before.

The glowing lamp is a nice touch. I never saw that or the 3D glasses before. Wonder what else I am missing, lol.

Two nights ago, my sister asked me if I needed any juice for my boat. I indignantly told her I wasn't working my boat, wasn't going to work my boat and she shouldn't be able to see what I might or might not need on my boat. "There must be a bug on your farm", I insisted.

Sweet girl, she patiently pointed out to me that whether or not I opened crates on my boat for help, anyone touching the harbour can see the crates once a boat is docked.

i never knew that. I always touched the boats themselves to help other players. On the bright side, I must applaud my pinpoint finger accuracy for never having even accidentally touched the harbour...or I probably did and thought I touched the boat anyway.

Long story, short conclusion - I'm still learning things about this game.

I didn't know that when a service building has a bell it means a townie is waiting to be served. Very useful.

He's not lucky for getting movie tickets, hes 100% free to play. Once you spend any money the tickets end forever

My father in law who I INTRODUCED TO THE GAME told me this one.

If you don't have enough diamonds to get Tom for a percentage off you can leave his last product in the box. for years. if time runs out on tom while the item is still there he continues to stand there patiently. and once you collect it asks if you'd like to hire him again for the discounted rate. so if you have 85 diamonds you can leave those red hats in the box for a week get the last 5 diamonds you need and then collect them and rehire tom again at discount.


He's one of the lucky ducks who gets movie tickets and so if he's short a few diamonds he just lets tom sit there till for a couple days while he watches commercials and then rehires him for 10% off. Turns out he's never paid full price for tom!!!

But not everyone gets movie tickets, I for instance have played for 3 years on 2 platforms and NEVER had movie tickets, she was merely illustrating her point regarding leaving Tom on the side of the road so the discount to re hire him stays too

yeah, but have you ever bought diamonds? Cause then they will disappear for sure. Though to be fair, I haven't, and I got them for a while, then I didn't, and then they came back. I still get them now. So I guess I'm lucky too!

I don't think I ever realised quite how big people could make their barns before I got here!
