This is for wars, not regular raiding or revenge attacks. As said, it is a way to prevent trap info from being grabbed by whatever X-chæt-mod-hax.

Note: Nothing was official said about how this will block those mods. And spun the anti-hax feature as a way to prevent one from going into war one troop/spell short of a full army. (Nice job SC for trolling back those who screw with your game )

SuperCell doesn't exactly want to advertise to millions of users that it was possible to ghost attacks.

Very clever way to "implement the fix to war ghosting" while marketing as a "feature improvement."

i suppose that many players stop their attacks when they hit two stars and save troops, funny how ideas come into play

    Haha, this!

It's been so long coming, I had already given up on Supercell doing anything about it. But there it is, and they even added what I feel is a very nice feature. Previously, I would check my camps, then check my king is walking around, then check my spell factory, then check my CC, then check my camps, then check my spell factory... I was so OCD about double and triple checking my army before starting a war attack. Now I can just look at all the information in one screen. I think it's actually better this way, plus it'll (hopefully) stop the cheetahs.
Dragons: You either love them or hate them. Well, or maybe both... Or maybe you don't care...
Regardless of how you feel about dragons, please see this suggestion for Rebalancing Town Hall 7, which is primarily focused around rebalancing dragons.
