Anyone who says dragons are a "guarantee to a three star at th8" has never attacked a max th8 with them. It has to be done just perfect for a 3 star. And its basically impossible with a well designed/maxed out th8 base.

For the past few months after the lava update all the pro players were using "ONLY" the air raids such as quadro and lavaloonion strategy ,almost 99% of the Top players are using it .So it is wise to bring the Air Sweeper update to encourage Ground attacks such as GOWIWI and GOWIPE . But its not applicable for low lvl th players such as from th 6-8 players cause Dragon raids are the only ones which can ensure them 3 stars on the war.It gives more strain to them . I personally want those sweepers only for the th 9&10 players as they can do ground attacks well. btw im lvl 136 th 10 player but i want to support my friends who are at lower town hall.Hope u understand us Supercell.Thank u!

TH7's will still get 3-starred by dragons. Check my signature, I've put a lot of thought into how ridiculously OP dragons are at TH7. I haven't even used this new defense yet, just saw the official sneak video last night. And I can guarantee that dragons will still be 3-starring TH7's with ease. But, hopefully it'll be a little harder, require a little more thought and skill, so you'll see fewer noobs getting the easy 3 stars.

I'm TH8 now, using dragons and balloons in every war attack. (I've used 10 dragons in a war attack maybe once or twice at TH8. All the other dozens of attacks have used anywhere from 4 to 16 balloons, level 5.) I know how hard it is to 3-star a maxed TH8 with dragons, especially if it has a good base layout. So I'm fully aware that I need to start learning how to use GoWiPe. I have 4 level 9 barracks and 2 level 3 barracks, so I haven't even unlocked golems or pekkas yet.

I didn't directly jump from th 1 to th 10 and i know what strategies was used when i was th 8

Net effect is still the same. Too much talk and overthinking about it can talk the fun out of your gaming. So basicly you can crash your own (and maybe other's) future gaming enjoyment from too much speculation.

You are referring to both of us, or just one?

Regardless you need to chill a bit. Attacking someone personally to make thier argument seem invalid isn't exactly a wise move (even though many people, kids through adults, do it. )

Also, you can edit your post, and not need to double post on a thread, which isn't seen as good form.
