Say Good-Bye To Free Shields

I'm a max defense 10 and jus got sniped by a max 10 who also has his th outside. Feels kinda odd, but I'll probably always get sniped.

Scenario: I'm a TH10 in Crystal 1. I farm faster than my builders can work, so storages often fill up between builders finishing. I get free shields 9 times out of 10 because some TH7 or 8 is trying to push up to Masters.

With the new matchmaking system, these low level players will be less likely to find me and my free town hall. With this, there will be a higher chance of a TH10 coming along and stomping me (I just got TH10 and haven't built infernos yet).

Perhaps this is a way for Supercell to make free shields more difficult. As it stands, everyone who cares about loot has their town hall on the outside. Opinion aside, town halls on the outside is probably not how Supercell intended the game to be played.

True, players at a simliar TH level might want the free league bonus and still give you a free shield. However, I think instead of getting free shields 9 out of 10 times it might now only be 6 or 7 times out of 10.

You're absolutely high if you think this does a damn thing to stop free shields. Free shields are a result of an outdated, broken league bonus payout system. It's still just as cheap for a TH9/10 to use only his/her AQ to get the 100k/100k/500 league bonus up in M3, and so on. What this will do is allow those farming down in Gold/Silver leagues less Nexting in order to find bases around their TH level, to alleviate the loot penalty. Free shields are very much going to continue exactly as they did before.

"Guaranteed" free shields need to go, it's terrible for the game from an overall farming standpoint, but this isn't a way to curb it. Or maybe SC thinks this will, b/c they've proven to make game decisions akin to that of a bunch of feces-throwing monkeys.

1-star: % of league bonus paid out based on % damage dealt to base
2-star: 100% league bonus payout
3-star: multiplier applied to league bonus

You increase the league bonuses once more, scaling them flatter as it increases, and make them earnable in this formula, and you solve the Nexting issue by solving the instant-TH snipe ♥♥. Better raids will result in larger payouts, and there will be no more TH sniping as a form of farming up in higher leagues.

This man knows what he's talking about. TH 10's are less likely to ignore a good bunch of DE or loot, but your TH is an attractive take. Less people Zap above 8, generally

Plus in crystal 2 I snipe other town halls for the nice tidy loot bonus with my archer queen so your concerns are unessesary.

Im A maxed th9... Im in C1 and have been raided twice now, from ppl that are in M2... Thay were th9s aswell and just sniped my th.
ofc they only Got 1 and 2 cups....
i see A easier route to Champs now, as Im only finding th9s or bad th10s when Im attacking.

Match making in champions league is left as-is. It's there in the match making sticky.

If u go off for 5 days straight the game will think you are a dead base and push back your village in the attack queue, theoretically giving you a free shield FOREVER.
