Walls with Elixir (FIXED!!!)

I don't get ANY elixir. I even avoid elixir collectors and storages when farming. The resource imbalance at TH8 is so huge you don't need elixir anymore after being TH8 for like a week.

i agree that the resource imbalance at TH8 is a problem. but the elixir for lower level walls is not the answer. i like the idea that if you have over 3 million in elixir, then you can use the excess over that for walls. i think that is the appropriate response that makes everyone happy. but supercell hasn't done this.

Than SC should adress this problem properly, not by a 'fix' where TH8 need to waiste millions lix if they wanna max and sitting with full lix storages all the time, it just makes no sence.
Adjust the upgrade prices for example.

A bug was introduced in the last update allowing walls to be upgraded with Elixir again, Supercell plan on fixing this 'soon'. A response can be found here or below.

TBH I remember the elixer draught when I was a TH7 when this had happened last fall. It was a mess. It did hurt the economy of the game. That said, I don't agree with the fix. They shouldn't be taking away a TH8's ability to use elixer on walls if a TH9 can do it too. Because then you still have TH10's upset about loot. Elixer for walls only really makes sense for max level walls. THAT is how it should be done. Then TH9's wont be upset about TH8's elixer for walls. TH8's wouldn't be just getting tossed about like (as someone earlier said) pinatas. AND ONLY top TH10 players trying to max walls would be crushing everyone else for elixer. But if they are maxing out walls, they should be the ones crushing others. There is your economy fix. Not teo mention you get the impaitient TH8's to shut up about having all this elixer as TH9's are not crushing them for it/the whinny TH9's to shut up about there being no loot when they are in the same boat as TH8's/The TH10's who I actually don't hear them complaining as much, will get some relief in their loot searches. The expected maxing out 10's crushing people for loot will be back to the "well yeah I expect that guy to 3 star me."
Yes this will have a few months of our right whinning and complaining from TH9's and some TH10's but they whine and complain all the time anyway.

Last thought on this: It's a game guys. You don't like it... don't play it.

We All Know That Upgrading Walls With Elixir Is Very Good ! And SuperCell Staffs Know That We Want That Option ! But They Fixed That !

Guy, you're going to be a TH9 with skull walls very very soon. Trust me when I say you will understand once you get there. We all had to upgrade to skulls(well most of us) with gold. I did it and now I'm able to upgrade my skulls with extra elixir.

It's not like you just hit TH9 and suddenly you can use elixir for walls. YOU NEED TO GET SKULLS WITH GOLD NO MATTER WHAT TH LEVEL YOU ARE. THIS ISN'T A TH8 THING ITS A WALL LEVEL THING. I can't just dump a tiny 500k every time I get it, into walls. I need to save 1-3M, which usually leaves plenty to be raided.
