Best attack strategy for open spaces town halls

I've been using lavaloonion for my war attacks but sometimes can only get 2 stars. Is there a better attack strategy on bases like this:

These kind of bases get three starred all the time in the clan wars with my clan. The most used strategy I see is GoWiWi, which will do great at this base ( assuming you are a TH9). Fot TH8, I'd use GoWiPe with either 2 witches in the CC or a maxed pekka.

This is also very base depended. Some of these bases can be hit by dragons or hoggs, you just have to look for the AD placement and possible DGB locations.
