I use giant-healer for farming all the time. As long as there are not many players wiling to farm storages, my loot is safe. Yours? Not so much...
Giant healer is great for DE farming at G3 as TH7...

The least troops that I use are goblins and healer. Sometimes I use valks on wars.
Normally I use my DE barracks for minions/hogs to make attacks faster. But yes if someone doesn't do those this will not affect them. Anyway I will try to add some valks to my army once I finish my walls (3 days left) and see what happens

it pains me to say valks. Love using them though and most who think they're useless don't know how to use them. Valks are very effective at TH 8 I'm still learning to use them and will upgrade them before golem. Valhalla files is a great Valkyrie guide.

I'm at TH8; my valks are in the lab now. Next I will upgrade wbs and start trying gowiva, and upgrade golems after wbs. But for now hogs have been doing pretty well in war so I'm getting by fine with those.
I feel like people are missing out on gobs! I love my lvl 5 gobs for farming! I do 2 racks archers 1 racks barbs 1 racks gobs when farming (and throw in some minions if I feel like speeding things up a bit). I was a straight barcher before I tried out gobs for the first time at TH8; now I'll never go back!
