What everyone is saying is.. There isn't one formula for the attack. You can use one to five hounds, sometimes golems, wizards etc.. It isn't a spam and win attack like mass dragons were.

Watch a ton of videos on it. See how easy it looks, then try it and get one star lol. Seriously you will need to practice and study bases for the right deployment of the hounds and balloons. If you put the effort in, you will eventually 3 star and make a max base look easy.

It depends on the base.

Tom is right; it really depends on the base. The main differences you will have between bases are shattered or CB, jump spell or wall breakers, and 2 (rarely), 3, or 4 hounds.

I wouldn't attempt a GoLaLoon with fewer than 4 wizards, but it could theoretically be done with 2 if the base allowed.

I also wouldn't attempt one with fewer than 14 balloons.

Then again, why should you take advice from me? I failed GoLaLoon every attack 12 straight wars . If it makes you feel better, I did come close to 3 starring multiple times.
