I'm debating about pushing to TH10. I have maxed all troop upgrades and all defenses/collectors/storages. I just finished upgrading upgrading all my walls to lvl9. Only thing is my heros are lvl13 King and lvl11 queen. Would you recommend going taking the plunge to TH10 now or upgrade further? Don't know if I have it in me to grind out farming $3m a piece for lvl10 walls
I am near the same as you. I have half walls to 9 and half at 8 but my queen is 15 and king is 16. Personally I am waiting until my heroes are at least level 20. By that time I should have walls near yours, and in the long run you will be happy that you don't have to spend dark elixir to upgrade heroes when you are a new town hall 10.Originally Posted by Tkg1717

Same here, everything is maxed TH9 except a little over halfway to full lego, king at 17, queen at 15. Was going to get all lego and both heroes to 25 or 30, cant decide, before I make the jump. Excellent question by the way.

I'm a defensively maxed TH9 working on lavas, heroes level and troops level, but I think if it took you that long to finish legos, it will take you too long to max lavas at TH9. I know a casual player who has recently got to champion league with defence and he only has mostly TH9-level defence (besides two lvl 3 infernos, wizard towers, and an additional lvl 3 xbow) and skull/purple walls. IMO legos is sufficient. Of course there will be benefits for maxing lavas, but you can progress fine without lavas.
As for heroes level, it will certainly help if you have above average heroes opposed to your mirrors in clan war, but dark elixirs is also easier to farm in TH10. So it will depend on if you are willing to sacrifice your personal gain for your clan. Alternatively, you could also follow the TH9.5 routine and hold onto TH10-exclusive structures until your offensive level (troops level & heroes level) catches up to your defensive level.

Good point about the heros and thanks for the input. I was just thinking about heading to 10 for the troop upgrades. We only have one th10 contributing max troops in out clan. It would would help big time for wars. Just a mound of indecision still.
I actually disagree with the common belief in this area. You should never rush before th 9 but I don't believe it's true from 9-10. The infernos make you basically unbeatable to anyone without freeze spells, your only eliminating th 8s from your raiding diet, the max troops help your clan, the third de collector and going to lvl 6 on them produces 7200 a day alone, and for the first time in the game you aren't adding to who's attacking you since there is no th 11. So you make a little less but almost never lose anything which makes up for it. Plus the newest update has made it much faster to find good loot at ten. Just my thoughts.
