I think that is the problem that I have with this whole blog. The blog is suggestions that you would like to see in the game. It is not a blog on clan management or strategies. I gave a suggestion that I thought would respond to a problem that I hear from a lot of people. I didn't ask, "How do you all prevent Hoppers in your clan." I made the suggestion, I was hoping Supercell would consider it. But, they may not. It is pretty presumptuous of some to think their advice is needed as if they were experts.

As to Supercell worrying about the small group of hoppers that would leave if those stats were tracked, then they don't care much about the larger group that is tired of them. As for the people that go back and forth between sister clan, I would hope you know who they are in your clan. I reality if that is the case, those stats shouldn't matter to your clan.

Most of you said this topic keeps popping up from time to time, so this may be something that should be addressed. If it really didn't matter, you wouldn't see this topic very often.

i just believe, if these stats were tracked. The game would be a little more enjoyable to all. Hoppers would look for a clan that truly feels comfortable to them. They would finally understand the clan experience they are missing out on. Hence they would probably be playing longer. After playing for about a year, I am bored of this game. It is only the members of my clan that I have met from all over the world that keeps me active.

As far as negative stats: having a long average time in a clan is positive, having a low rate of being kicked is positive, having been in a few clans for a long time is positive.
Of course you have knowledge, thats why the profile is there. Gold Grab, War Stars, Friend in Need, Humiliator- will all give you a lot of telling info on a player.

So what would happen to someone who bounces between an affiliate clan, or joins a few req n go clan to build XP? Their profile would get a negative stigma.

If someone leaves during prep day- you likely didn't interview the person very well. As a policy- we do not let anyone war with the "new" badge on their name. The player who would leave over that rule- is the same player who will leave during prep day.

Take responsibility for who you let in your clan, and consider interviewing players more thoroughly.

Well, I guess that is up to SC to decide, then. To drive away customers that other people are annoyed by, or to allow the customers that are being annoyed to be driven away. That is a business decision, I was making a suggestion that would improve the enjoyment of the game. SC seems to be doing alright on their own without me worrying about what is good for business, I am making the suggestion from a consumers perspective.

In many other games they just put a delay (1h-24h) before you can join another clan.
In other words if you change clan you have to wait 1-24h before you can join another.

I have yet to hear of anybody being driven away from CoC because hoppers exist. Parasitic hoppers are very easy to spot and fun to boot. Hardly an issue that ruins game play. Having a black mark of shame on the account you spent $$$ on so nobody will talk to you, that will drive players away.

That is a great idea. Finally, someone with another idea instead of just sticking their head in the sand and saying it isn't a problem. Or, suggesting that it is somehow the clans fault for allowing a hopper in. Thank you!

Negative stats won't be added such as kicked from a clan.

Also, it really doesn't define a hopper through those stats.

What if I got kicked from a troll? What if I had to leave because of a policy they had?

Its a stupid idea. You need to stop feeling sorry for yourself and start thinking things through. In your desperation to find a way to make it someone else's job to solve your own problems the arguments have gorren a but surreal. And then to jump at this thing shows you are totally not thinking. Refer to earlier in this thread as to why any sort of delay or penalty would backfire. (Igeageg posted something that explained it really well) Some of the info you worked hard to not absorb actually would have been very instructional.

As far as people suggesting how to deal with it yourself instead of agreeing with you additions to the game that they know darn well are never going to happen (agreement or not) you should be grateful for that. Since they know SC is not going to solve your problem for you and because they are assuming you do still want to solve your problems, they are telling you ways to do that under what is the reality. You are being a bit like a spoiled child to not only reject that info but to actually criticize or get mad at folks for giving it.
