Rushing th8!

Max your farming troops at TH8, then jump to 9. Once there, max DE drills, army camps, SF, and lab. Get your Queen asap and go crush some TH8's with your superior army. Loot is great at TH9 in gold leagues. DO NOT however jump to TH10 without maxing, or at least get close to maxing TH9.

1:
Upgrade Barbarians & Archers to level 5, and all spells to level 5.
Note: Upgrade lab first.
2:
Upgrade army camps to max for the specified town hall.
3:
Have BK level 5 for Iron Fist (% are that you'll have BK [5] at town hall 7......if you didn't rush that). Store DE after BK level 4 --> 5 upgrade for town hall 9 AQ.
4:
Make sure you have 40, 000 DE. Buy the AQ. First upgrades will be easier, get it to level 5 for Royal Cloak ability. Optional if no war, but else use both heroes in attacks. Place both heroes in a good radius, AQ covering high ground targeted defenses and BK covering only air targeted defenses. Basically, but BK in core, and AQ around for extra cover.
5:
Almost there!!! Buy the new walls, and new defenses. Making a common champion "square" base {tweaked} might work, with many amount of 4 defenses (mortar, wizard tower, AD). Upgrade point-guard walls to level 9 for intimidation (enemy more likely to spot it). Get other walls to level 8 and STOP for now.

Note that the path most hard is "Farm" because you will be focusing on walls, since they take time, and traps including [Teslas] take 10 days +. *Subject to higher Town Hall levels attacking and destroying you.*
I would go Upgrade Lab but you'll need to unlock witches then Lava Hounds.

TH8 imo is one of the most important townhalls because you have so much elixir to practice various troop combos with that you shouldn't rush TH8 and get the full benefits out of this townhall.

I would not advise you to rush TH7 to TH9. People who do this are making a big mistake in the long run because 1) you get a loot penalty at TH9 that is harsher than TH8. TH8 loot penalty is hardly noticeable because you can still get the most loot out of TH7 and your own TH level. TH9 loot penalty will suck and it will take a while for you to recover from your rush since you are basically a TH7. You will get destroyed every time you log off and will lose a whole lot of loot. 2) Your offensive capability is basically level 2 dragons. Plus you won't get into good clans because duh...no one likes a rusher in war. You won't even be able to attack your own townhall. Most clans expect TH9 to attack their own townhall. You won't even be able to attack a TH8 with those level 2 dragons.

Just think about what you're doing first. This will be a big mistake if you do this. I personally am enjoying townhall 8 because my elixir storages are full 90% of the time. I don't get attacked much and even if I do, I can easily get the lost loot back by just raiding once since my townhall has a very small loot penalty.


In conclusion. Don't do this. I myself half rushed TH7(my walls and troops were ♥♥♥♥ when I rushed to TH8) and still haven't been able to recover fully from the rush but I am still at it. If I only rushed townhall 7, you sir are rushing a whole townhall. It will be very tough for you.

If you're going to rush, at least be a smart rusher. This meansmaxing your splash, offence, BK and walls.

1. The loot is better at TH9, here have a look from people with actual experience:

2. What's more appealing? to attack a TH8 with 0 gold (it was used on walls), full elixir (since you can't use elixir on walls) and full dark elixir (since there are barely any dark upgrades at th8) OR to attack a TH9 with 0 gold, 0 elixir and 0 dark elixir (you can use elixir on walls and dark elixir on heroes)?
I've been in TH9 for a month now and I've only been attacked 4 times (out of 60 attacks in a month?), the rest were town snipes. So yeah, you won't "get destroyed".

3. What? As a rusher, you upgrade your offensive troops so you'll have level 6 barch and lavaloonion much earlier than a maxed TH8. You'll be an asset in clan wars LOL.

4. He will be able to 3 star any TH9 base and obviously, any TH8 in war (he'll be faced against THs8 in wars).

I would say max your farming and war troops splash and air defences, bk to 10 and max walls.
