Location Crystal 1 and I zap all day long. I am TH10 hitting with 5 max zaps. DE Storage has 3k available I am getting 2k min. All storages around it getting extra loot. TH outside add more loot.

Imagine if he spend half playtime zapping and another half TH sniping to get back to Crystal 1. That'd be really sad. lol.I'm assuming you do most of your zapping after you've gotten at least one star, because you wouldn't be staying in Crystal 1 for long if you zap and surrender all day long

My problem with zappers is that you are underestimating the usefulness of the lightning spell
I just had a raid on a TH9 with 4k DE available in storages and drills.
4 lightnings to 2 mortars and a barch attack later and Im walking away with 3.5k of it. I would have got it all except his clan castle troops got to my archers before they could finish off the storage and one of the drills
4 lightnings on a storage would get you what 1800? On the right base, I can get 1600+ using just 2 lightnings
The added bonus being that as Im not a zapper, I can actually raid a DE storage so my army is still effective for big raids even when Im waiting for my spells to cook.
Simple fact of the matter is that zapping is easy but its not efficient by any means
My last 4 barch raids over the last 90 minutes (unboosted) got me 3.5k, 2.5k, 2k and 3k without a single lightninged storage or drill needed
Using just lightning averaging 2k DE per attack, it would take you about 10 hours to do the same.
p.s. due to the amount of DE Im pulling in, all of this is being done in Crystal 2 WITHOUT either hero

So...why are so many players complaining about being zapped?
Shouldn't this be a game of well balanced attacking and definding forces? What are all these defences for, when you can easily steal a huge amount of DE with an satalite based orbital EMP zapp?
Even during a barch attack you will have to find a - assumingly simple - strategy to get the loot AND your 50%. But while zapping, your fingers do have to do little work, only. It's basically against the overall game-story and -design.
You can literally make enough DE in one single raid to make back what you lost from a zap.
Put your TH outside, you get a 12 hour shield. Maybe they zap you and snipe your th? Well that means you have to make only 2 raids after your shield to make up for that zap .. and the next one.
This is a non issue.
I get zapped quite a bit because I am often holding 60k+ DE most time, but guess what? I still bring in WAY more DE than what goes out from zaps, and that's playing casually.
Losing some loot sometimes is part of the game, the same way taking loot is.
