    shield spell

    make a spell that shields your troops and takes on so much damage before it disappears and it wont have a time limit it will have a damage limit to where after it reaches so much damage it disappears this would be something for the idk town hall 8 and up people maybe even 9. so that noobs are not to powerful against other noobs. id assume this would cost around 700 dark elixer per spell and take damage up to 2000 for level 1 and add another 500 or 750 per upgrade. this would be very useful in dragon raids.

    If the shield covers enemy defense can they still cause damage to the units inside the shield?

    no they can not be attacked no matter what while under the spell. until the spell is destroyed. this would be good to give and edge on barbs archers and minion (small troops).

    then this is an overpowered spell

    how so the spell only lasts for so much damage it doesn't have to be exactly the said amount of damage for a level 1 of this spell that was just and example. also it most likely wont be long before the troops would move out from under the space of the spell that's if it lasts long enough.

    Well at least with the heal spell a lot of splash damage and constant fire can overwhelm the healing effects and the infernos aren't fazed by it at all. Troops can do quite a bit of damage under a heal or rage spell but to give them full invincibility for even a short amount of time would just be so overwhelming. Id bring 5 of them with me in war and pummel bases like nothing.

    I guess what I'm saying is it wouldn't be fair for defenders who already have a hard time preventing a 50% to now have to hang on for 3,4,5 seconds while the troops under the shield can't be damaged at all.

    aw okay i got ya i didnt think of using more than 1 at a time.
