As a th9 I have no issues sending a few balloons to farm up league bonuses from th7 and below, no loot penalty to worry about if you get 140k gold and elixir and 900de as a bonus.

If defenses do not matter, then what's the point of upgrading them? Yes a TH10 can take all the storages from a non rushed TH9 but it would be HARDER than taking all the storages from a rushed TH9. The probability of a TH10 who has the spells and army necessary is decreased thus LOWERING the overall loot you lose.

We are not discussing fun. If you had fun wasting 100million elixir, good for you.

Your friend is doing something wrong if he is th9 with gold walls and getting raided for 300k. He has walls to dump into and protect himself. This means that he isnt a proper rusher, or doesnt have a good plan or you made him up.

No, its just that I feel like I'll be replying the exact same thing over and over again, so I'm lazy convincing others. If people want to follow my path, good for them. If you doubt me, I highly doubt anything I say can convince you.

The properly rushed TH9 will be 100%, yes losing 30-50k of gold and elixir. The badly rushed TH9 will be 100%, losing 200-300k G/E. The person who maxed TH8, and now TH9 will be 60%, losing 130-200k G/E.

The mid-TH9 will still be 50% easily, losing 130-200k G/E. The rusher, who has caught up on defenses (TH8 level), will still be 80%, losing 20-40k loot.

See the pattern?

Based off my records, my TH9 farming is far far faster than when I was TH8. This could be attributable to my lack of skill during TH8. So now, I have a TH8 alt account, can you point to me where the golden area for loot is? You can still convince me that loot is better in TH8. But I've calculated the average on my mini, he isn't getting nearly the same loot as my TH9 main (~600k/hr in TH7&8). Mini is in S1/G3, Main is in G1/G2. If you're asking me to move up, then I guess its pointless for my mini to stay in TH8, because I'll be farming off dead TH8s, which can be farmed more efficiently in TH9

Rushers will sometime save money for buying xbow, even level 1 to scare th8 attacking him. What do you do to prevent 300k gold loss from raid? Boosting racks and staying online? Well then my friend welcome to nerd world

Because staying at TH7 lets you farm TH6's and ABOVE. Just because you're TH7 doesnt mean you cant Barch lvl 12 collectors. If you go TH8, you miss out on 50% of the loot from TH6 collector bases and 10% from TH7 collector bases which is significant. The higher TH you are, the harder it is to find profitable collector bases simply because higher TH players in general check their bases more often.

This is wrong, you usually can't farm TH9 or TH10 because of the strength of the base. TH7 can't really attack interior collectors efficiently. Besides, TH9 can definitely hit TH7s for 100-120k each which I do all the time expending few troops, a small portion of my army. It's definitely less than half of the troops to get 1/2 the loot. And yes, a large % of my loot comes from collectors, but a lot of the time they require a couple giants and wbs. Having stronger troops makes it so much easier to loot those with less troops and more yield. I think fewer giants is better, middle between gibarch and barch. This way the common collector raids are very easy to do.

An additional advantage I can search for bases to loot without a full army. Even when I don't have a full army with me, I almost always get 80%+ of the loot. TH7 can't do that.

Only reason why you are repeating yourself so much is that you are just making claims without factual information to back up your assertions. Stating that you can make x amount of gold an hour at TH8/TH9 can not be supported. Showing that Barch trains faster than GiBarch (for example) by using the definite values for train type is factual.

Farming doesn't take much skill, just Barch for collectors. Golden area for loot at TH8? 1200-1300. Again, you say that dead TH8 bases are more easily farmed at TH9 but I've already stated how the 10% bonus in troop stats is negated by the 10% loot penalty and that lvl 5 Barch is cheaper to train than lvl 6 Barch. If anyone is wasting their time repeating themselves, it's me.


It doesn't make sense how a TH9 with better defenses will lose more loot than a rushed TH9. Better defenses=more protection=less loot lost on average.


You still haven't addressed how an AQ and 30-40% a base with 2 Giants by the way.
