Summary
✔ The Pandemoneus is a flying, ranged unit (tougher than balloon but still more fragile than dragons), capable of attacking both ground and air units. He causes incredible damage amount like single-target Inferno Towers (20-1000 damage, just like IT's damage style) and also blocks healing effects from healer and heal spell.
✔ The Pandemoneus behaves like dragons, minus his splash damage.
✔ He's extremely weak toward Seeker Air Mines (1.5x or 2x damage), but resistant to Inferno Towers (takes only 50% or 75% or 90% damage from IT).
What kind of tactics this unit would enable
✔ Full Pandemoneus, deploy them like deploying dragons, or clear the perimeter building with minions/archers to ensure Pandemoneus doesn't wandering around aimlessly .
✔ Deploy Lava Hounds immediately when the Pandemoneus are closing to AD's range so he won't take damage from AD and dies too soon. When the Lava Hounds dies by ITs, Pandemoneus should be absorbing IT's damage and another Lava Hounds should be deployed to absorb AD's damage (It takes quite some finesse to do this actually)
✔ They are best paired with Lava Hounds and a few Balloons, as balloons can be used to spring the seeker air mines.
✔ Heal, Rage Spells can be used to support Pandemoneus, Freeze Spells to disable ADs, CC troops.
✔ Quite interesting as defense cc troops since he has incredible damage and blocks heal like IT's, but useless against lower tier troops
Army compositions including this unit
✔ Full Pandemoneus. Though this is very risky due to SAMs (seeker air mines) and way too long training time and ridiculous de cost, also useless when dealing with low tier cc troops.
✔ PanLavaloon(ion). Best composition with the best result from best performed Pan-lava tank tactics
*Can be used to support ground troops as well but not recommended
How to redo your base to protect from this unit
✔ Well placed ADs, SAMs in places that can't be easily destroyed / sprung, Single Target IT's (They still can kill Pandemoneus too although takes longer time than killing lava hounds / heroes / golems / pekka
✔ Maxed ADs and SAMs is NOT optional; It is IMPERATIVE, as lv2-3 SAMs should kill a Pandemoneus.
✔ Placing SAMs nowhere near ADs would probably ensure the SAMs won't be sprung by Hounds, Instead putting them near Inferno Towers would be a good idea to ensure the SAMs hit the Pandemoneus
