I think this guy enjoys complaining about loot (he has multiple threads on the subject) more than actually playing the game itself. If he actually learned to farm loot properly, he would lose his favorite pastime. Ipso facto I actually think he sucks at this game on purpose.
There's good and bad days. Try changing your trophy range.

Currently on an 18 minute nexting binge. Man so great. Awesome that I built these troops I can't even use Supercell.
